Fatal Collision on I-65 Hart County

(Bowling Green) - Amparo Zamora was north bound on I-65 at the 74 mile marker when it slid on the rain slick roadway and entered the median. Amparo Zamora crossed the median and entered the south bound lanes where it struck James Willie Thompson Jr. Amparo Zamora came to final rest in the median. James Willie Thompson Jr. came to final rest in the emergency lane. Amparo Zamora and both passengers in Amparo Zamora were killed. The driver of James Willie Thompson Jr. was not hurt.
