Missing Person Investigation in Bowling Green, KY

Date of News Release: 02/03/2008

(Bowling Green) - On February 2, 2008 William Hoots Jr., age 82, left his residence around 2:30 p.m. Mr. Hoots told his wife that he was going to drive their truck around the block in the Smallhouse Road area in Bowling Green. Mr. Hoots has not yet arrived back home. He was seen in the Cave City area around 11:00 p.m., and was last seen this morning (2/3/08) around 01:30 a.m. in Central City, KY. Mr. Hoots was last seen wearing an unknown color hat, red Corvette jacket, khaki pants, SAS cordovan colored shoes, and is wearing a watch. Mr. Hoots wears dentures but does not have them in his possession. Mr. Hoots is a type 2 diabetic and could possibly be in beginning stages of Alzheimer. He is driving a red 2000 Chevy S-10 pickup with a bedcover, KY License number 578-FMK. If anyone has contact or has seen Mr. Hoots please contact the Kentucky State Police in Bowling Green.
