Homicide Victim in the Cub Run, KY Identified

(Cub Run, KY) --An autopsy was performed on the female victim earlier this date in Louisville. Fingerprints were obtained from the victim and she was then later identified as a missing female from the Louisville area. Fingerprint matches identified the female as 34 year old Wendy Sue Logsdon of Louisville. She was last heard from by family members on 01/18/08. She was reported missing on 01/20/08 to Louisville Metro Police Department. The are no suspects at this time. The investigation is ongoing and further information is not being released at this time.

(Cub Run, KY) --The unidentified female is described as a White Female between 20 & 40 years old. She is 5ft 4 inches & 135 lbs. She has hazel eyes and shoulder length blonde hair. She was wearing a Harley Davidson tank top & a Sean John belt with a large silver buckle. Female was wearing a yellow gold herringbone necklace with an unidentifiable charm on it. She suffered from Fibrocystic Disease as well as cervical problems and gall stones. Further details are not being released at this time and the investigation continues. (Cub Run, KY) --On 01-21-2008 a local Hart County resident notified the Kentucky State Police advising that he had found what he believed to be human remains.

The Kentucky State Police responded to the scene and a Homicide investigation was initiated. The unidentified white female victim was found in the Priceville community in a remote location.

Hart County Coroner Jeff Roten has transported the victim to the Kentucky State Medical Examiners office in Louisville for an autopsy.

The Kentucky State Police are currently reviewing all missing persons cases in the area in an attempt to identify the victim.

The investigation continues. The Kentucky State Police was assisted by the Hart County Sheriff's Department, the Hart County Rescue Squad, and the Hart County Coroner's Office.
