Injury Collision on Claymore-Russellville Road in Todd County

(Madisonville, KY) - Mrs. Lisa Young was west bound on Claymore-Russellville Road when she left the right shoulder of the roadway. Mrs. Young entered a ditch running parallel to the roadway. Mrs. Young continued straight ahead in the ditch for approximately 300 feet striking a driveway culvert and reentering the same ditch. Mrs. Young was then able to drive out of the ditch and back onto the roadway. Mrs. Young's vehicle came to final rest in the center of the roadway. Mrs. Desiree Young was transported by Todd County Emergency Services to Jennie Stewart Hospital.

Trooper Ayres was assisted by Todd County Emergency Services and Sharon Grove Fire Department.
