Injury Collision on KY 70 in Hopkins County

(Madisonville, KY) - James Butler was operating a 1996 Nissan Maxima westbound on KY 70 when for an unknown reason, he lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle entered the center lane and crossed both eastbound lanes of travel. The vehicle exited the roadway and struck a culvert causing it to become airborne. It overturned and came to rest on the driver's side facing east on the eastbound shoulder of the roadway. Mr. Butler was transported by ambulance to the Regional Medical Center for treatment. He was not wearing a seat belt.
