Criminal Arrest in Crittenden County

(Madisonville, KY) - On Thursday, December 4, 2008 at approximately 8:37 p.m., Trooper Matthew Foster was dispatched to a complaint of a reckless driver on Levias Road. Upon arriving, Trooper Foster observed a green, Chevrolet pickup truck swerving on the roadway as it was exiting a ditch. Both of the passenger side tires on the truck were flat. When Trooper Foster initiated his emergency lights, the truck accelerated in an attempt to flee. The truck turned onto Finch Lane where the driver lost control and struck a tree. The driver, identified as Gary B. Davidson, was arrested without further incident. He was charged with the offenses listed above and lodged in the Crittenden County Detention Center.
