Felony Drug Arrest in Hopkins County

(Madisonville, KY) - Mr. Michael J. Bucy was stopped for speeding and no seatbelt. During initiation of the traffic stop, Mr. Bucy was observed concealing something in the seat beside him. A concealed handgun was located in the vehicle in the center of the seat hidden under clothing. No other contraband was discovered in Mr. Bucy's vehicle. Mr. Bucy attempted to conceal a baggie of Methamphetamine under the rear seat of Trooper Rice's vehicle. Mr. Bucy was lodged in the Hopkins County Jail. He was charged with Speeding, No Seatbelt, Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine), Tampering With Physical Evidence, Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon.
