Injury Collision on Western Kentucky Parkway in Hopkins County

(Madisonville, KY) - Emily Johnson was operating a 2002 Nissan Sentra eastbound on the Western Kentucky Parkway when she attempted to avoid a small animal. Ms. Johnson lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle exited off the right shoulder then came back onto the roadway. The vehicle overturned on its side and came to rest in the right-hand lane. Ms. Johnson was transported by ambulance to the Regional Medical Center for treatment. She was not wearing a seatbelt.
