Injury Collision on Wilbur James Road in Hopkins County

(Madisonville, KY) - Ramona Nelson was traveling westbound on Wilbur James Road. A deer entered the roadway from the north. Mrs. Nelson swerved to miss the deer and exited the eastbound shoulder of the roadway striking a fence. Mrs. Nelson then struck a tree coming to final rest upright on the eastbound shoulder of the roadway. Mrs. Nelson was transported to Regional Medical Center via Med Center Ambulance for treatment to her injuries.
