Injury Collision on KY 109 in Hopkins County

(Madisonville, KY) - Mr. David Legate was traveling northbound on KY 109, north of Dawson Springs, when for unknown reasons the vehicle he was operating exited the southbound shoulder of the roadway. Mr. Legate's vehicle then struck a gas meter on the shoulder of the roadway and entered a tree line. The vehicle struck two trees ejecting Mr. Legate. The vehicle came to final rest upright, facing north on the southbound shoulder of the roadway. Mr. Legate was transported to Regional Medical Center via ambulance for treatment to his injuries.
