Felony Drug Arrest in Crittenden County

(Madisonville, KY.) - A 1996 Lincoln Mark VIII was observed speeding by TFC Darron Holliman. TFC Holliman conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle with the assistance of Marion Police Officer, Bobby West. Consent to search was granted by Mr. Teddie Davenport, the owner and operator of the vehicle. The search revealed Methadone (a schedule II narcotic), Hydrocodone (a schedule III controlled substance) and Xanax (a schedule IV controlled substance). No valid prescriptions for the controlled substances were located.
Teddie Davenport was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense, Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree 1st Offense, Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree 1st Offense, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st Offense, Speeding & Failure to Wear Seatbelt. His passenger, Teresa Angel, was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 2nd Offense, Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree 1st Offense, Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree 1st Offense & Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st Offense. Ms. Angel was lodged in the Crittenden County Detention Center. Mr. Davenport was cited to court due to being admitted to the Crittenden County Hospital for chest pains.
