Injury Collision on Western Kentucky Parkway in Hopkins County

Madisonville, KY - Joseph Chambers was operating a 1999 Chevrolet S10 westbound on the Western Kentucky Parkway when it appears that he fell asleep. Mr. Chambers lost control of the vehicle and traveled into the median. The vehicle returned to the roadway and crossed the westbound lanes striking a guardrail. The vehicle traveled back into the median and crossed the eastbound lanes. The vehicle struck a guardrail on the eastbound side and flipped over it. The vehicle came to rest upright down an embankment. Mr. Chambers was transported by ambulance to the Muhlenberg Community Hospital for treatment. He was wearing a seatbelt.
