Injury Collision on KY 181 in Muhlenberg County

Madisonville, KY - Brittany Sumner was operating a 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt northbound on KY 181. Richard Davis was operating a 2004 Ford F-150 southbound on KY 181. For an unknown reason, his vehicle drifted into the northbound lane of travel. The vehicles collided head-on in the northbound lane. Mr. Davis' vehicle continued southbound where it exited off the left shoulder of the roadway and overturned. It came to rest upright. Ms. Sumner's vehicle came to rest in the northbound lane. All subjects involved sustained minor injuries. Mr. Davis was transported by ambulance to the Muhlenberg Community Hospital for treatment. All subjects involved were wearing seatbelts.
