Felony Drug Arrest in Todd County

Date of News Release: 07/30/2008

Madisonville, KY -Tpr. Jeff Ayres received an anonymous tip that a Darrell King Jr. was growing marijuana in his front yard at his residence on West Oak Street. Tpr. Ayres drove past the residence and located the marijuana. Tpr. Ayres then obtained a search warrant for the property and the residence. Tpr. Ayres, Tpr. Palmer and Officer Moberly executed the search warrant. Mr. King was arrested at his residence without incident and charged with the offenses of Cultivating Marijuana Less Than 5 Plants 1st Offense, Trafficking Marijuana Less Than 8 Ounces 1st Offense, Possession of Marijuana & Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was lodged in the Todd County Detention Center.
