Felony Drug Arrest in Muhlenberg County

Madisonville, KY - Trooper Brandon McPherson stopped a golf cart on Firehouse Lane in Graham, KY. After suspecting the driver was intoxicated, Trooper McPherson asked Mr. Scott to exit the vehicle to conduct standard field sobriety tests. While patting Mr. Scott down, Tpr. McPherson located a fully loaded .357 Magnum in the front Mr. Scotts pants, and a small bag of methamphetamine in his pocket. Mr. Scott failed the field sobriety tests and was lodged in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center. Mr. Scott was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st degree 1st offense (Methamphetamine), Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Operating Motor Vehicle under the influence of Alcohol 1st offense (aggravating circumstances), Failure to illuminate Headlights
