Fleeing and Evading Police 1st Degree - Motor Vehicle

Madisonville, KY - Mr. Jeremy M. Murphy was observed operating an ATV with a large blue cooler attached to the 4-wheeler on the roadway by Trooper Michael Manzanares, Unit 639 and Trooper Matthew Foster, Unit 1041. Trooper Manzanares attempted to stop the 4-wheeler. Mr. Murphy fled the scene. The cooler was thrown from the vehicle. An active meth lab was found inside the cooler. Murphy was apprehended and charged with Fleeing and Evading Police 1st Degree (Motor Vehicle), Fleeing and Evading Police 2nd (On Foot), Operating an ATV on the Roadway, DUI 1st, Reckless Driving, Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st and Possession of Controlled Substance 1st (Meth). Mr. Murphy was lodged in the Todd County Detention Center. The clean up of the Meth lab was conducted by Trooper William Braden, Unit 593. Trooper Braden was assisted by the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force.
