Drug Arrest in Hopkins County

Madisonville, KY - Kentucky State Police Post 2 units went to the residence to attempt to serve a bench warrant on Ronald Banks. Upon units arrival Mr. Banks was located inside the residence along with several items of drug paraphernalia that were in plain view. Units obtained a written consent to search the residence and property around the residence by occupant Ronald Banks. During the search an active methamphetamine lab was located inside the wood line behind the residence. Several other items used to manufacture methamphetamine were also located inside and outside of the residence. Detective Jerrod Hearld, Unit 509 assisted in the meth lab clean up process. Trooper Stephen Oughton, Unit 463 arrested five subjects that were at the residence without incident and all were lodged in the Hopkins County Detention Center. Trooper Oughton was assisted by Trooper Carlo Anderson, Unit 375 and Trooper Bob Winters.

The five arrested were identified as

  1. Ronald E. Banks Age: 45 Address: Madisonville, KY. Charges: Execute Warrant for Other Agency, Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st Offense, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st Offense, Possession of Anhydrous Ammonia other than Approved Container with Intent to Manufacture Methamphetamine 1st Offense, Possession Anhydrous other than Approved Container.
  2. Ronald W. Fenwick Age: 34 Address: Henderson, KY. Charges: Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st Offense, Unlawful Possession of Meth Precursor 1st Offense, Possession of Anhydrous Ammonia other than Approved Container, Possession Anhydrous Ammonia other than Approved Container with Intent of Manufacture Methamphetamine 1st Offense.
  3. Pamela L. McGlothlin Age: 41 Address: Slaughters, KY. Charges: Manufacturing Methamphetamine 2nd or Greater Offense, Unlawful Possession of Meth Precursor 1st Offense, Possession Anhydrous Ammonia other than Approved Container with Intent to Manufacture Methamphetamine 1st Offense, Possession Anhydrous Ammonia other than Approved Container.
  4. Eva G. Tapp Age: 39 Address: Providence, KY. Charges: Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st Offense, Unlawful Possession of Meth Precursor 1st Offense, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st Offense, Possession Anhydrous Ammonia other than Approved Container with Intent to Manufacture Methamphetamine 1st Offense, Possession Anhydrous Ammonia other than Approved Container.
  5. Davis S. Parsons, III Age: 36 Address: Henderson, KY. Charges: Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st Offense, Unlawful Possession of Meth Precursor 1st Offense, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st Offense, Possession Anhydrous Ammonia other than Approved Container with Intent to Manufacture Methamphetamine 1st Offense, Possession Anhydrous Ammonia other than Approved Container.
