Felony Arrest in Webster County

Madisonville, KY - On 06-25-08, Post 2 received a complaint of subjects breaking into a subject's vehicle at a residence on KY270 near Clay KY. Trooper Sumner responded to the complaint and it was determined that the thefts occurred sometime in the early morning hours. While investigating the complaint Trooper Sumner was advised of 2 more thefts that occurred during the same time period. Witnesses identified the alleged perpetrators and after further investigation Mr. Austin Arnold was lodged in the Webster County Detention Center. Mr. Austin Arnold was charged with 3 Counts of Theft by Unlawful Taking and 3 Counts of Criminal Trespassing The case is still under investigation and more arrests are expected.
