Injury Collision on KY 254 in Hopkins County

Madisonville, KY - Mrs. Elizabeth Hatchett was southbound on KY 254 (Brown Road) when she attempted to pass a bicycle in the southbound lane. Michael Skultety was northbound on Brown Road when he saw Elizabeth Hatchett partially in his lane of travel. He attempted to stop, to avoid a collision, which caused him to lose control of his motorcycle and go into a skid. Mr. Skultety was thrown from the motorcycle into a ditch. The motorcycle continued to slide on the roadway striking the vehicle driven by Mrs. Hatchett. Mr. Skultety received minor injuries and was transported to Regional Medical Center. There were no injuries in the other vehicle.
