Injury Collision on KY 973 in Muhlenberg County

Madisonville, KY - Ashley N. Appling was eastbound on KY 973 when she approached the intersection of US 431 she failed to stop at the posted stop sign. She crossed US 431 and struck a ditch line coming to final rest in the ditch. The front seat passenger, Tiffany Diliha, was transported to the Muhlenberg Community Hospital for treatment of minor injuries sustained in the collision. Ashley N. Appling and Kenneth R. Morris were not injured in the collision. Trooper Ray was assisted at the scene by the Dunmor Fire Department and the Muhlenberg County Ambulance Service.
