Burglary 2nd Degree Investigation and Arrest in Todd County

Madisonville, KY - On April 25, 2008, Elizabeth McCracken reported a burglary of her residence. Mrs. McCracken was out of town for approximately one week and when she returned she discovered various items missing. An investigation led State Police to Mrs. McCracken's neighbor, Richard Carter.

A search warrant was issued for Mr. Carter's residence and was executed on May 19, 2008, around 10:15 pm. Numerous documents and evidence were recovered which led to the arrest of Richard Carter and Nathan T. Kelley. Nathan Kelley was lodged in Logan County jail on other charges at the time the search warrant was executed. Mr. Kelley was charged with the burglary of Mrs. McCracken's residence. Mr. Carter was arrested for Receiving Stolen Property and lodged in the Todd County Jail.
