DUI Injury Crash on US 62 in Hopkins County

Madisonville, KY - Tommy Wilson was operating a 1997 Chevrolet Blazer westbound on US 62 near Nortonville when his vehicle struck a tree that had fallen down and blocked both lanes of travel. Through further investigation, it was determined that Tommy Wilson was operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol. He was placed under arrest. While enroute to the Hopkins County Detention Center, Mr. Wilson complained of back pain. He was transported by the police cruiser to the Regional Medical Center where he was treated and released. Tommy Wilson was charged with the offense of DUI 2^nd and lodged in the Hopkins County Detention Center. Leroy Wilson was not injured. Leroy Wilson was arrested and charged with alcohol intoxication. He was also lodged in the Hopkins County Detention Center. Both subjects were wearing seatbelts.
