Drug Arrest in Hopkins County

Madisonville, KY - On Tuesday, May 20, 2008, at approximately 1:43 a.m., troopers responded to a residence on Hopkinsville Road to investigate a possible assault. While the troopers were inside the residence, they noticed items of drug paraphernalia in plain view that contained residue of suspected cocaine. A search of the residence revealed several, small crack cocaine rocks and items of drug paraphernalia including a glass pipe, razor blades and tweezers. Andrew Williams was arrested without incident and charged with the offenses of Possession Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense-Cocaine & Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd Offense. He was lodged in the Hopkins County Detention Center.
