Drug Arrest At Checkpoint Location in Muhlenberg County

Madisonville, KY - Kentucky State Police was conducting a traffic safety checkpoint at the intersection of KY 175 and KY 601. Marty D. Hollis drove up to the checkpoint and consented to a search of his vehicle. As Mr. Hollis exited his vehicle, Trooper Brandon McPherson located a bag of suspected methamphetamine in his pocket. Mr. Hollis was arrested without further incident and lodged in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center.
