Receiving Stolen Property Over $300 Arrest in Hopkins County

(Madisonville, KY) - On Friday, May 09, 2008 at approximately 4:30 p.m., Tpr. Derek Smith arrested Kristopher T. Fox. Tpr. Smith was investigating a case that involved a stolen all-terrain vehicle. The vehicle had been reported stolen on May 4, 2008. Tpr. Smith had received information that Mr. Fox had been storing the stolen ATV behind his residence.

An arrest warrant was issued for Mr. Fox for Receiving Stolen Property Over $300.00. While Troopers were enroute to execute the arrest warrant, he was spotted on KY 813 operating his vehicle with a suspended operators license. Mr. Fox was arrested and charged with Receiving Stolen Property Over $300 (D Felony) & Operating On Suspended Operators License and lodged in the Hopkins County Detention Center.
