Felony Arrest in Hopkins County

(Madisonville, KY) - On Friday, May 09, 2008 at approximately 11:45 a.m., Tpr. Derek Smith arrested Billie S. Lamb. Tpr. Smith was investigating a case that involved a stolen all-terrain vehicle. The vehicle had been reported stolen on May 4, 2008. Tpr. Smith had received a tip that Mr. Lamb was in possession of the vehicle. The officers located Mr. Lamb on the ATV in the wood line behind a residence on Trabue Lane in Mortons Gap. Mr. Lamb was charged with Receiving Stolen Property Over $300 (D Felony), Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree (B Misdemeanor) & Possession Controlled Substance 2nd Degree 1st Offense (A Misdemeanor) and lodged in the Hopkins County Detention Center. Tpr. Nick Rice and Det. Daniel Morck assisted Tpr. Smith.
