Drug Arrest in Christian County

(Christian County) - Trooper Manzanares observed an Oldsmobile passenger car north bound on Virginia Street. The driver was not wearing a seat belt, and a traffic stop was conducted. The driver, Charles Grubbs, could not provide Trooper Manzanares with a driver's license or proof of insurance. It was determined that Mr. Grubbs's driver's license had been expired since May of 2005. Mr. Grubbs was placed under arrest for expired drivers license and failure to provide proof of insurance. A search of the vehicle was conducted and approximately three ounces of marijuana was found inside the vehicle. Mr. Grubbs was lodged in the Christian County Jail.
