Update on the Escapee from Webster County Detention Center

An image of Anthony Daniel Knaggs, click here to open in new windowDixon, KY (Webster County) - On Tuesday, April 15, 2008, the Kentucky State Police Post 2 in Madisonville was contacted by the Webster County Detention Center in reference to an escapee. The escapee, Anthony D. Knaggs, left from the workshop area of the detention center at approximately 7:20 p.m. CST on April 15. He was last seen wearing khaki Department of Corrections pants, t-shirt, black & white New Balance tennis shoes and a brown Carhartt jacket with a hood. The t-shirt has WCRCC inmate embroidered on the left chest area. Webster County Detention Center employees found Mr. Knaggs' jail issued clothing this morning (4/16) near the detention center. The only piece of clothing not found was the Carhartt jacket with hood. Mr. Knaggs may possibly be enroute to Taylor, Michigan.

Wanted for Escape 2nd Degree (Class D Felony) is:
Anthony Daniel Knaggs, Age: 30, Sex: Male, Race: White
Height: 5'9", Weight: 165, Hair: Brown, Eyes: Hazel

Mr. Knaggs had been incarcerated for Robbery 2nd Degree. If you come into contact with Anthony Knaggs, do not try to apprehend him. **** CAUTION CONSIDERED ARMED AND DANGEROUS **** 

(Webster County) - Anthony Daniel Knaggs Escaped from the Webster County Dentention Center in Dixon, KY at around 07:20pm on 04-15-08. Mr. Knaggs left from the workshop area of the Detention Center. Mr. Knaggs is possibly enroute to Taylor, MI. He was last seen wearing Khaki Department of Corrections pants, T-Shirt, Black and White New Balance Tennis shoes, and a Brown Carhart jacket with a hood. The T-Shirt has "WCRCC Inmate" embroidered on the left chest area. Mr. Knaggs was incarcerated for Robbery 2nd Degree. If seen, Do Not Attempt to hold subject. Contact local Law Enforcement or Call 9-1-1.
