Drug Arrest in Todd County

Date of News Release: 04/09/20

(Todd County) - On April 6, 2008, Tpr. Mark Franklin and Tpr. Timmy Jewell responded to a complaint of a suspicious odor at a residence located on Stringtown Road approximately 3 miles west of Elkton. Upon their arrival, both troopers approached the residence and detected the odor of chemicals. Tpr. Jewell walked around the side of the residence and located the accused, Teresa D. Cannon, walking towards the residence from the rear of the garage. The troopers discovered an active lab inside a grill. Ms. Cannon was arrested without incident and charged with Possession Controlled Substance 1st Degree 2nd or Greater Offense (Meth) & Manufacturing Meth 2nd or Greater. She was lodged in the Todd County Jail.
