Drug Arrest in Muhlenberg County

(Madisonville, KY) - Kentucky State Police Post 2 responded to the Muhlenberg Career Development Center at the request of the staff. After an investigation had been conducted, it was found that Mr. Montarious S. Pope, while an intern at Poole's Pharmacy in Livermore, had stolen 100 Xanax pills. After stealing the pills, Mr. Pope returned to the Muhlenberg Career Development Center and sold them to students. Mr. Pope was charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance within 1,000 Yards of a School and has been lodged in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center.
