Four Wheeler Collision with Injuries in Muhlenberg County

(Madisonville, KY) - Kelsey Williams was operating a 2008 Kazuma four wheeler along with a passenger, her brother George Williams. They were traveling east on Forgy Mill Road when the ATV rounded a curve and lost control for an unknown reason. Kelsey Williams exited the right shoulder of the roadway and struck a tree head on causing both riders to be ejected. Dunmor Fire Department and Muhlenberg County Ambulance Service responded to the scene to treat the children. Both Kelsey and George Williams were transported to the Muhlenberg County Community Hospital by Ambulance and later flown by helicopter to Vanderbilt Children's Hospital for treatment. David Buchanan, the children's step-father, was cited for operating an all terrain vehicle on the roadway and operating an all terrain vehicle without head gear under the age of 16, for failing to make the children wear helmets.
