Three Injured on KY 2270 in Muhlenberg County Collision

(Madisonville, KY) - Rhonda Abbott was operating a 2002 Chrysler Town & Country Van eastbound on KY 2270 approximately 2 miles west of Belton. As she topped a hillcrest, she met another vehicle. Ms. Abbott swerved to the right and her vehicle exited off the right side of the roadway. Her vehicle re-entered the roadway and crossed both lanes of travel. The vehicle exited off the left side of the roadway and overturned. Her vehicle came to rest on its top off the roadway. Ms. Abbott was transported by ambulance to the Muhlenberg Community Hospital for treatment. Her sons, Timothy and Lee Abbott, were transported by a private vehicle to the Muhlenberg Community Hospital for treatment. All subjects were wearing seatbelts.
