Felony Drug Arrest on the Mockingbird Lane in Hopkins County

Date of News Release: 03/29/2008

(Madisonville, KY) - On March 28, 2008, at approximately 1914 hours, Bryan Skimehorn was operating his vehicle on Locust Street, in Nortonville, KY. Trooper Derek Smith observed Mr. Skimehorn make a left turn onto Mockingbird Lane without using his turn signal. A traffic stop was initiated for failing to signal and not wearing his seatbelt. Through further investigation it was learned that Mr. Skimehorn was in possession of Methamphetamine and multiple items of Drug Paraphernalia. Mr. Skimehorn was arrested and transported to the Hopkins County Detention Center where he was processed and charged with Failure to or Improper Signal, Failure to Wear Seat Belt, DUI 1st Offense, Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense (Methamphetamine), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st Offense.
