Felony Drug Arrest on the Western Kentucky Parkway

(Madisonville, KY) - On March 27, 2008, at approximately 2225 hours, Tracy Aubrey was operating her vehicle over the posted speed limit on the Western Kentucky Parkway near the 28 mile marker. Trooper Derek Smith initiated a traffic stop for the speeding violation and failing to wear a seatbelt. Through further investigation it was learned that Ms. Aubrey was in possession of Marijuana, multiple drug paraphernalia items and several prescription narcotics. Ms. Aubrey was arrested and transported to the Hopkins County Detention Center where she was processed and charged with Speeding, Failure to Wear Seat Belt, DUI 1st Offense (Aggravating Circumstances), Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd Offense, and Prescription Controlled Substance not in Proper Container 1st Offense.
