Drug Arrest in Hopkins County

Date of News Release: 03/17/2008

(Madisonville, KY) - Lisa Allison, of Madisonville, was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped at a Pre-Approved Traffic Safety Checkpoint located on KY 2171, in Hopkins County. After further investigation a search of the vehicle was conducted. Marijuana and drug paraphernalia was located in Ms Allison's purse. Ms. Allison was found to be unlawfully in possession of prescription pills. Ms Allison was arrested and transported to the Hopkins County Detention Center where she was processed and lodged. She is charged with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st Offense, Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd Degree - 1st Offense, Prescription Controlled Substance Not In Proper Container 1st Offense, Public Intoxication.
