Felony Arrest in Hopkins County

(Madisonville, KY) - On Thursday, March 13, 2008 at approximately 12:50 p.m., the Kentucky State Police Post 2 Madisonville received a terroristic threatening complaint. Teresa Hunt came to Post and advised personnel there that her husband, Mark W. Hunt, stated that he had a problem with sanitation trucks driving on his road. Mrs. Hunt advised that her husband went on to state that if the trucks did not stop traveling on the road, he would shoot at them and blow up the road.
At approximately 12:54 p.m., troopers arrived at Mr. Hunt's residence located on McIntosh Chapel Road. After several hours of communicating with Mr. Hunt, he was taken into custody without further incident.
Mr. Hunt was arrested and charged with the 1) Terroristic Threatening 1st Degree (C Felony), 2) Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree (D Felony), 3) Possession of Marijuana Less Than 8 Ounces (A Misdemeanor). He was lodged in the Hopkins County Detention Center. There were no injuries to any of the parties involved.
