Injury Collision Updated to Fatality on KY 454 in Hopkins County

(Madisonville, KY) - Mr. John Adamson died as a result of injuries sustained in this collision. He died at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana, on March 12, 2008, at 2:45 AM.

Date of News Release: 03/11/2008

(Madisonville, KY) - Mr. John Adamson was traveling southbound on KY 454. Mr. William Donan was traveling eastbound on US 62. Mr. Adamson pulled out in front of Mr. Donan. Mr. Donan attempted to avoid a collision by applying his brakes and steering to the right but was unable to do so. Mr. Donan then struck Mr. Adamson. Mr. Adamson was flown from the scene to Deaconess Hospital by Air Evac.
