Drug Arrest in Webster County

Date of News Release: 03/12/2008

(Madisonville, KY) - The Kentucky State Police and the Clay Police Department were conducting a traffic safety checkpoint at the intersection of KY 109 and KY 493 in Clay. A vehicle operated by Tiffany Duncan of Nebo, KY proceeded through the checkpoint. While stopped at the checkpoint, the troopers discovered a child restraint violation in Ms. Duncan's vehicle. Troopers obtained consent to search the vehicle. During the search, the passenger, Christopher E. Cobb age 25 of Central City, KY, was found to be in possession of Hydrocodone pills and other unidentified pills. Mr. Cobb was arrested without incident and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree 1st Offense. He was lodged in the Webster County Detention Center. Ms. Duncan was cited to court and released.
