Drug Arrest on Greenville Road in Christian County

Date of News Release: 03/12/2008

(Madisonville, KY) - On Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at approximately 9:03 p.m., Tpr. Jacob Wilson and Tpr. Mike Manzanares conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Greenville Road. The vehicle was operated by Ryan M. Cunningham age 22 of Hopkinsville, KY. While speaking with the troopers, Mr. Cunningham appeared extremely nervous. Tpr. Manzanares requested assistance from the Christian County Sheriff's Department. K-9 Officer, Deputy Robert Schneider responded to the scene. His K-9 alerted on the vehicle and a small bag of marijuana was located inside the vehicle. Mr. Cunningham was arrested without incident and lodged in the Christian County Detention Center.

Ryan Cunningham was charged with:

  1. One Headlight
  2. Rear License Plate Not Illuminated
  3. Failure To Produce Insurance Card
  4. Possession of Marijuana Less Than 8 Ounces
