Injury Collision on KY 181 in Elkton, KY

Elkton, KY (Todd County) - Christopher Brown age 49 of Elkton, KY was operating a 2000 Ford Taurus northbound on KY 181 when he approached a curve at an apparent high rate of speed. Mr. Brown lost control of his vehicle and exited off the roadway. The vehicle traveled through a yard and struck a tree before coming to rest approximately one foot from a house. Mr. Brown was flown to Vanderbilt for treatment. He was charged with DUI 1st offense and cited to court due to his injuries. Mr. Brown was wearing a seatbelt. Tpr. Jeff McWhorter investigated the crash that occurred on February 16, 2008 at 10:30 p.m. Sgt. Duane Snyder and Todd County EMS assisted at the scene.
