Escapee Arrested in Hopkinsville, KY

Hopkinsville, KY (Christian County) - On Sunday, January 20, 2008 at approximately 11:20 p.m., Antonio S. Mumford contacted local authorities to turn himself in. The Hopkinsville Police Department transported Mr. Mumford to the Christian County Detention Center where Tpr. Mike Manzanares charged him with Escape 2nd Degree. Mr. Mumford was lodged in the Christian County Detention Center.

Hopkinsville, KY (Christian County) - The Kentucky State Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating an escapee from the Christian County Detention Center. On March 13, 2007, a Christian County Detention Center inmate, Antonio S. Mumford of Hopkinsville, KY, left for work release at approximately 3:15 a.m. He was reporting to work at the McDonald's in Oak Grove, KY. Mr. Mumford was supposed to return to the jail at approximately 1:30 p.m. on March 13, 2007; however, he did not return.
