Burglary Investigation in Slaughters, KY

Slaughters, KY (Webster County) - On Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at approximately 6:00 a.m., the Kentucky State Police Post 2 Madisonville was contacted by Webster County Dispatch in reference to a burglary at the Slaughters Elementary School located 10362 State Route 138 in Slaughters.

It appears the suspect(s) gained entry into the school by prying open the gym door. Once inside, several other doors were also pried open. The suspect(s) also made entry into the cafeteria. The suspect(s) rummaged through several rooms, offices and the cafeteria. At the present time, it does not appear that anything was taken. The investigation is continuing by the Kentucky State Police.
