Injury Collision on KY 112 in Earlington, KY

Earlington, KY (Hopkins County) - Paul Rudd age 28 of Madisonville, KY was operating a 2001 Ford F-450 truck northbound on KY 112 when he reached into his pocket to retrieve his cell phone. The vehicle exited off the right shoulder of roadway and struck a guardrail end. The vehicle continued along the guardrail until it overturned and rolled into a creek bed. The vehicle came to rest upright in the creek bed. Mr. Rudd was transported by ambulance to the Regional Medical Center for treatment. He was wearing a seatbelt. Tpr. Nick Rice investigated the crash that occurred on January 14, 2008 at 9:15 a.m. Earlington Fire/Rescue and Medical Center Ambulance Service assisted at the scene.
