Injury Collision on US 431 in Beechmont, KY

Beechmont, KY (Muhlenberg County) - Clyde Audas age 64 of Lewisburg, KY was operating a 1976 Ford pickup truck southbound on US 431 approximately 4 miles south of Beechmont. For an unknown reason, the vehicle crossed the centerline and exited off the left shoulder of the roadway. The vehicle overturned and struck a tree before coming to rest on its top. Mr. Audas was transported by ambulance to the Muhlenberg Community Hospital for treatment. He was not wearing a seatbelt; however, he was not ejected from the vehicle. Tpr. Jerry Knight investigated the crash that occurred on January 13, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. The Beechmont Volunteer Fire Department and Muhlenberg County EMS assisted at the scene.
