Felony Drug Arrest in Lyon County

(Mayfield, KY) - Trooper TJ Williams initiated a traffic stop on Interstate 24 at the 42 mile marker because the operator was not wearing a seat belt. After further investigation Trooper Williams and Trooper David Archer, of the Kentucky State Police Special Operations Canine Division, located 67 dose units of loratab, hidden within the vehicle. At this time Jonathan R. Ogden of Union City, TN was placed under arrest and lodged in the Caldwell County Jail. Mr. Ogden was charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 2nd degree, 1st offense. The investigation is continuing by Trooper Williams.
