Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st Offense Investigation

(Cadiz, KY) - Both Chisty L. Hale and Brian K. Overby were arrested after an investigation by the Kentucky State Police revealed they were in Cadiz, KY to sell methamphetamine. Ms. Hale and Mr. Overby were located in a vehicle near Interstate 24 and US 68 and were subsequently arrested. A search of the vehicle resulted in the recovery of several items used in the methamphetamine manufacturing process. 4 grams of processed methamphetamine was also recovered. A 2000 Chevy pickup was seized as a result of this investigation. Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force assisted the KSP. Investigation is continuing by the Kentucky State Police.

Chisty L. Hale was charged with 1) Trafficking Controlled Substance 1st Degree - Meth, 2) Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st Offense, 3) Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree - Meth & 4) Tampering with Physical Evidence. Brian K. Overby was charged with 1) Trafficking Controlled Substance 1st Degree - Meth, 2) Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st Offense & 3) Drug Paraphernalia Possession 1st Offense. They both were lodged into the Christian County Jail.
