Escapees from the West KY Correctional Farm Complex

(Lyon County) - On 8/16/2008 at approximately 0430 AM, two inmates were reported missing from the West KY Correctional Farm Complex north of Eddyville. Escapees James Ernest Whisman of Morehead and Jesse James Sebastian were last physically seen at approximately 2230 (1030 PM) on 8/15/2008. A bed check at around 0430 revealed the pair were missing and presumed to have walked away during the night.

An image of Jesse Sebastian, click to enlarge in a new window Jesse Sebastian is a 43 year old white male, 6ft, 140 lbs, brown hair and blue eyes. Both subjects may be wearing khaki shirts and pants, white shirts, and gray sweat pants or any combination of the above.

Residents are urged to report any suspicious activity and, most importantly, secure property, clothing, and vehicles to guard against theft.

Any information should be reported to the Ky State Police at 1-800-222-5555 (in the state of Kentucky only, does not work out of state) or 911. Investigation continues by Trooper 1st Class C. G. Anderson UNIT 1138.
