(Hickory, KY) The Kentucky State Police Post One Activity Report for the month of July is as follows:

Post One Mayfield covers the 11 counties of Ballard, Calloway, Carlisle, Fulton, Graves, Hickman, Livingston, Lyon, Marshall, McCracken and Trigg. As of July 31st, 2008 there have been 41 people killed in fatal collisions in the Post One area. Of those who died, 17 were not wearing a seatbelt. During the same period in 2007, there were 41 people killed in the Post One area. Statewide, to date, there have been 435 people killed compared to 500 in 2007.
