Search Warrant & Arrest in Graves County

(Hickory, KY) - On April 17, 2008 at 8:30 p.m., Troopers from Post 1 and investigators from Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) executed a search warrant at the Fancy Farm Knights of Columbus Hall, in Graves County. The search warrant was the result of a two-week joint investigation by ABC and KSP.
Troopers seized approximately 960 cans of beer, 21 bottles of liquor, a large amount of cash and coins, a vending machine, large storage cooler, surveillance equipment, a computer and records related to the sale of alcoholic beverages. A total of eleven individuals were charged with fifteen criminal offenses pertaining to the unlawful transaction of alcohol to minors and possession of alcoholic beverages in a dry option territory.
Officers of the organization Daniel J. Thompson (52) of Fancy Farm and William E. Dossett (61) of Fancy Farm were both charged with several alcoholic beverage offenses including Sales of Alcohol to a Minor and Illegal Sale/Possession/Storage of Alcoholic Beverages in a Dry Option Territory.
Two additional subjects were charged with DUI and Operating on a Suspended License respectively, both of whom drove up while the search warrant was being executed.
Additional charges are pending against other club member(s). The investigation is continuing by Detective Cory Jessup.
