Injury Collision on I-24 in Lyon County

(Hickory, KY) - James R. Baker was travelling westbound on interstate 24 in right hand lane. Asuncion Hernandez was stationary at the 53 mile marker on the shoulder. James R. Baker lost control of his vehicle and struck the rear end of Asuncion Hernandez. James R Baker, was transported by Lyon County EMS to Jenny Stewart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, KY. There were no injuries reported by Asuncion Hernandez. Trooper Anthony Trotter was assisted on the scene by Trooper Richard Wright Jr, Trooper Daniel Jones, Trooper Jonathan Paull, 2 Kentucky Vehicle Enforcement Officers, Lyon County EMS, and Lyon County Rescue.
